In this series, I am thinking of the veil(s) more as a
state of being, like the mood or feeling of twilight, hanging between day and
night, or of dawn where things are beginning to appear and develop, to be felt
and understood. I am painting from the point between the seen and unseen,
between the inner life and the outer life, between the known and the unknown,
and the exquisitely delicate place between life and death.
